Fewer errors and time saved with Mileage Book

Skovdyrkene Midt has been a satisfied Mileage Book user for 5 years. There's room to keep a logbook any way you want - depending on how digital you are. But because Mileage Book's solution is so easy to use, practically all employees have chosen to drive with Mileage Book's solution.

Before Mileage Book, we kept logbooks the old-fashioned way with handwritten notes that had to be typed into a spreadsheet. This could take a couple of hours and there was of course a high risk of errors and omissions. An administrative employee then went through the spreadsheet and took the total amount, which was then reimbursed.

With the switch to Mileage Book, we have been confirmed in our expectation of fewer errors and time saved.

Fully automated solution

We went the fully automated route. First it was automatic start-stop with iBeacon. We were happy with that and have only seen it get better and better. We have upgraded to the solution with GPS trackers that sit in the car's OBD connector. When you're out in the middle of the woods, you need a stable and reliable solution without outages.

We also manage our expenses with Mileage Book. We don't have many expenses, but it's definitely a simplification that employees don't have to remember to bring receipts into the office. Instead, they can save receipts in the app on the spot.

Approval is done in minutes

As an approver, I have one place to log in and I know the system. The mileage accounts are all done in the same way, so I don't spend many minutes on each employee. It just works well.

At the same time, there is validity in the fact that the trip data is logged. I don't have to sit and create routes on Google maps based on start and end addresses.

In general, the system is simple to get started with. The few challenges that have arisen have been solved quickly and professionally by the support team. There is a good response and we are held by the hand when we need it.
