Lots of time saved on the 60-day rule

"There's peace of mind if SKAT should show up and we have more time for other tasks. I would say that Mileage Book has saved the administration 50% in terms of time when working with mileage reports, including the 60-day rule.

Previously, mileage accounting used to take a lot of time. We sat with printed Excel sheets and pens and checked everything manually. With Mileage Book, we now have a much better overview that allows us to easily reject and approve trips and take random samples. The integration between Mileage Book and Danløn also means less typing when the mileage needs to be transferred to the payslip. It's one less source of error, which of course means fewer mistakes.

The 60-day rule is time-consuming, complicated and difficult to understand

"Our project managers frequently visit our construction sites and are quickly affected by the 60-day rule. The most important criterion for us was therefore that the system could handle the 60-day rule without making it more difficult for our employees.

The tax rule had become a headache for us. It was difficult to manage for the employees, who both struggled to understand the rule and had a hard time counting up correctly. At the same time, they didn't really want to spend time on it because it didn't make sense for their daily work tasks. Their focus was just on getting their mileage.

Previously, the administration had to manually check the employee counts. We could see that maybe a third of the employees were making errors in the count.

Over the years, we've seen a lot of growth. We've gone from having relatively few employees to being a large company. The process around the 60-day rule has become equally labor-intensive. We have known that inadequate control of the 60-day rule could be a problem if the tax authorities came by for an inspection."

Strong collaboration from onboarding to daily support

"Before implementing an IT system, you often think it's going to be difficult, but with Mileage Book it has gone much better than expected. Based on a precautionary principle, the onboarding has been done in stages. Primarily because the employee history had to be moved to Mileage Book. But even that import went much better than we dared hope for.

Throughout the entire collaboration, Mileage Book has been a good partner. We've had a permanent contact person who has given us a sense of security in the process. We always had a good dialog and experienced that Mileage Book was very solution-oriented. This also applies when the Customer Success team steps in to solve challenges along the way. There is a quick response and no auto-response or phone queue."
