Everyone reports via Mileage Book

It was the desire to make it easier for employees to register mileage that made PKI Supply take a closer look at Mileage Book. Today, all mileage is reported via Mileage Book, putting an end to spreadsheets and different approaches to registration.

"It was an employee who showed me his mileage log. He drove with Mileage Book privately and was very enthusiastic. I listened to that, and we got someone from Mileage Book to talk about the solution, which suited our needs perfectly," says Lars Jensen, CFO at PKI Supply.

Mileage Book takes everything into account

Before PKI Supply used Mileage Book, everything was recorded in spreadsheets. Not everyone was equally good at filling in everything required by SKAT, which in many ways was inappropriate.

"I had the choice between rejecting people's accounts, which meant extra work for both the individual employee and me. Alternatively, I could let them slip through, at the risk of SKAT showing up. Of course, the latter was not an option, so it meant a lot of backlogs. I'm completely free of that now. Mileage Book takes it all into account and everything is in accordance with legislation," says Lars Jensen about the switch from spreadsheets to Mileage Book.

Bonus in administration

The choice of Mileage Book was initially about making it easier for employees to register mileage and do mileage accounting. However, the administrative benefits were a welcome and expected bonus, which became apparent when PKI Supply started using the built-in approval workflow.

"We hadn't set up any approval flow from the start, so I had a little difficulty managing which runs were settled and which were not. There was a risk that there were runs I didn't notice. Today, the approval flow is set up to suit our needs and I have a full overview. It has made my work easier, I save time and I can be sure that I have everything," says Lars Jensen.
